take charge

Take Charge is a program funded by the federal government that covers birth control methods and birth control related office visits. You can apply for Take Charge at Aurora Medical Services. To qualify for Take Charge, you must:

live in Washington state
be a US citizen or permanent legal resident for five years or more
meet certain income criteria, listed below
provide a valid social security number
provide a photo ID, or an explanation of why you don’t have one
have no other form of health insurance.
